Notre Dame Basilica

The AURA Experience offers a unique opportunity to explore the architectural jewel of Quebec's heritage that is the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal. With state-of-the-art projectors and lasers, the interior of the Notre-Dame Basilica is illuminated from floor to ceiling. The AURA Experience achieves the unimaginable, breathing new life and movement into a timeless landmark. 

Before the show, you are invited to stroll through the Church’s aisles and contemplate the illuminated stations, which put forth the Basilica’s architectural beauty and works of art. You are then invited to take your place in the Basilica’s pews (general admission) to witness a grandiose immersive performance. Wherever you are, the magnificence of the scenes projected on to the Basilica’s walls, vault, and altarpiece will leave you speechless.

• Delegates are invited to walk to the event as part of the conference group (walking school bus) departing the hotel at 7:00 PM or make their way there on their own with colleagues and friends. The Basilica is ~ a 20-minute walk.
• Please note that travel back to the hotel or any additional activities, such as dinner, will be on your own.

• NOTE: Delegates may also purchase separate tickets to La Grande Roue de Montréal to enjoy after the AURA event (La Grande Roue closes at 11 PM), or at another point during the weekend. See below for more details. 

The AURA Experience Itinerary 

• 7:00pm - 7:30pm (20-30 mins) CNS will organize a "walking school bus" departing promptly at 7:00 PM from the front entrance of the Hotel Bonaventure (main entrance on the ground level). Delegates can join the group or meet directly at Notre Dame Basilica (110 Notre-Dame Street West).
• 7:30pm - 8:00pm (20-30 mins) - AURA Pre-show / Browse Illuminated Stations
• 8:00pm - 8:25pm (25 mins) - The AURA Experience (25 mins)

Price: $35.00 CAD (tax included)

1. The AURA Experience ticket must be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be sold onsite and are expected to sell out.
2. Space may be limited (tickets to Aura typically sell out a few weeks in advance).  Avoid disappointment and purchase your tickets early.
3. Refunds will not be issued on social activities. 

Event ticket includes:

• Illuminated Stations at Notre-Dame Basilica 
• 8:00pm show at Notre-Dame Basilica
• (Optional) Walking "walking school bus" leaving from the Hotel Bonaventure.

Not included:

• La Grande Roue de Montréal (tickets sold separately, see below)

La Grande Roue de Montréal

A Panoramic View at 60M

La Grande Roue de Montréal is an iconic attraction open 365 days a year. Canada's tallest observation wheel, standing at 60 meters tall, offers 18-minute rotations, providing you with breathtaking 360-degree views of Montreal. You'll marvel at vistas stretching 28 kilometers, showcasing the city's vibrant neighborhoods and historic landmarks.

This attraction, which was inaugurated in 2017, is part of the latest generation White Series made in Netherlands by Dutch Wheels, a renowned Ferris wheel manufacturer. It contains 42 gondolas specially designed to give you an exceptional view four seasons a year.

Tickets have no set date or time and are valid for a period of one year from the date of purchase. A conference delegation/walking school bus will depart from the Hotel Bonaventure at 7:00pm for those who wish to participate in this activity as part of a group - this is optional).

• NOTE: If you plan to attend AURA – Notre Dame Basilica (separate ticket required) we recommend attending that event first (8:00 PM showtime) and then visiting La Grande Roue de Montréal afterward, or at another point during the weekend. La Grande Roue tickets are valid to be used at any time during the conference weekend and beyond (tickets expire one year from the date of purchase showing on the ticket). 
• Delegates may join the "walking school bus" departing promptly at 7:00 PM from the front entrance of Hotel Bonaventure (main entrance on the ground level) to the Notre Dame Basilica, or may travel on their own directly to La Grande Roue de Montréal (362 de la Commune Street East). La Grande Roue is approximately 2.2 km (about a 30-minute walk) from the Hotel Bonaventure / 1km (15 minute walk) from the Notre Dame Basilica.
• Travel back to the hotel and any additional activities, such as dinner, will be on your own.
