This session will cover malnutrition screening tools and which tools are sensitive, specific, and with good predictive value to identify malnutrition before colorectal surgery.

Speaker/Chair Bio:

Dr. Chelsia Gillis is an Assistant Professor in the School of Human Nutrition and Associate Member in Anesthesia and Surgery at McGill University. She is a Registered Dietitian, Epidemiologist, and Canada Research Chair Tier 2 in Perioperative Nutrition. Her research interests include prehabilitation, Enhanced Recovery After Surgery, malnutrition, and patient engagement.
