Speaker/Chair Bio:

Maude Perreault is an assistant professor in the Department of Nutrition at the Université de Montréal, a researcher at the Centre Jean-Jacques Gauthier, CIUSSS Nord de l'île de Montréal and a registered dietitian. She works in public health nutrition, where she collaborates with community partners. Maude's research interests are centered around the development of food literacy in different contexts and life stages such as during childhood or when living with a chronic disease that requires dietary changes. In parallel, Maude is interested in professional practice in dietetics, specifically how to diversify the profession, disrupt racism, and better support dietetics students to envision a socially just practice that will serve Canada's population in all its diversity.
