Speaker/Chair Bio:

Gabriella Luongo is a senior research analyst with Health Canada's Tobacco Control Directorate. She works with the Office of Research and Surveillance where she leads population level health surveillance to monitor tobacco and nicotine use among youth and adults in Canada. Her work informs regulatory, compliance, and policy work within the federal government to support Canada's Tobacco Strategy goal of achieving less than 5% tobacco use in Canada by 2035. Gabriella completed her PhD in the Faculty of Health at Dalhousie University where she examined the relationship between diet costs and dietary adequacy among people in Canada.
